Every day, a famous quote is encrypted with a secret substitution cipher. Each letter is swapped for a different letter — your job is to crack the code.
🎯 How to Solve
- Tap a cipher letter (top row) to select it
- Type what you think the real letter is
- All instances of that letter update instantly
- Use Undo to take back a guess
- Use Restart to clear all guesses
💡 Hints
You get 6 hints per puzzle. Each hint reveals one random letter. Using fewer hints = higher score!
⭐ Scoring
- Base: 1,000 points
- Time bonus: up to +500 (faster = more)
- Hint penalty: -100 per hint used
- Wrong guess penalty: -10 each
- Author bonus: +200 for correct attribution
- Streak bonus: +50 per day (max +500)

Play every day to build your streak. Miss a day and it resets to zero!
👥 Tribe Boards
Tribe Boards are private leaderboards for your own group — mates, work people, family, pub quiz chaos goblins, whatever works.
- Create one from the Leaderboard page
- Invite people with your tribe link
- Your score still counts on the Global Leaderboard too
- Manage your tribes from Settings → View My Tribes
- If you own a tribe, you can rename or delete it
- If you are just a member, you can leave it any time
💡 Tips
- Single-letter words are usually "A" or "I"
- "THE" is the most common 3-letter word
- Look for double letters (LL, SS, TT, EE)
- Common endings: -ING, -TION, -LY, -ED
- E is the most common letter in English
